How Peanut counts

Peanut uses research from the Counting Animals project — the same methodology used by Animal Charity Evaluators. Every plant-based meal spares roughly 0.37 animals. At 3 meals a day, that's about 1.11 animals per day. Your number is based on the midpoint of the years you selected — a fair estimate, not a precise audit.
